    • My first memory was in NYC. Only my mom took me to NYC. I was only 12 at the time. The two of us went to Broadway and saw Wicked, but all I remember was “Popular” was my favorite song. Now, I wish I remembered more- despite not having vivid memories the impact Wicked had on my life clearly shows.

  1. Oof… this one’s a little embarrassing:
My family and I were in Japan, my grandma took us to see Wicked. My siblings and i were having a good time but, as soon as the flying monkeys came out at the end of Act I, we all were horrified! Haha, I guess we were all pretty young at the time! Admittedly, I don’t remember much except that but that’s my first memory of a stage musical!

    • Well, coincidently, my first memory was the same musical.

Only my mom took me to NYC. We saw Wicked on Broadway. Too bad all I remember was who I was with, what the show was, that it was on Broadway, and that my favorite song was “Popular” at the time. I was only 12 years old. Despite not having vivid memories, at least the impact shows
