Recently I was asked, what my favorite genre in musical theatre was. The problem is I don’t know if I actually have a favorite genre. There was some genres I have come across more than others, and that is because I have been around them longer. That has been one of the hardest questions. There have been the romantic musicals, the tragic musicals, the comic musicals, and some are a combo. So, I don’t know if I exactly have a favorite genre. One genre is still kind of new to me- which are the tragedies. I will list the musicals I do like or love- not the ones I don’t like at all. The mixed feeling musicals are still liked.

My category of Newsies is Kick Ass musicals because you get the rush to go out and just do something hahaha

I think all genres have a special place in my heart…..I can’t choose a favourite! But i can definitely sort them out into which genres have taught me the most and which genres make me feel happiest, etc!
