Favorite Genre in Musicals

Recently I was asked, what my favorite genre in musical theatre was. The problem is I don’t know if I actually have a favorite genre. There was some genres I have come across more than others, and that is because I have been around them longer. That has been one of the hardest questions. There have been the romantic musicals, the tragic musicals, the comic musicals, and some are a combo. So, I don’t know if I exactly have a favorite genre. One genre is still kind of new to me- which are the tragedies. I will list the musicals I do like or love- not the ones I don’t like at all. The mixed feeling musicals are still liked.

  1. I think all genres have a special place in my heart…..I can’t choose a favourite! But i can definitely sort them out into which genres have taught me the most and which genres make me feel happiest, etc!
