Greatest Discovery Major Characters

Greatest Discovery is my 3rd WIP, but one I haven’t talked about in a while. One of the things I have been working on for a while is figuring out the names of the six major characters. For me, I feel like this book will be the hardest one to write. 1) It takes place in a real location: NYC, but I still want to create a fictional location. 2) It will hit be hard more emotionally than the other two (the major characters are orphans after all). 3) The number of characters are larger than Cattail Forest. 4) The plot is more difficult to work with.

Today, I will only provide you with a list of the major characters, who are in fact the six orphans.

1. Aurora
2. Jasmine
3. Emily
4. Mollie-I went for this spelling because how often do we see this spelling in books, etc…
5. Rosie
6. Paige

What I had to figure out is who in fact of these major characters will the plot be focusing on the most. I decided for it to be Aurora and Jasmine, my fraternal twins. I actually already have been working on their backstory and who they are. I love them as characters, but dislike killing off their parents (that is the closest I got to killing off a character in a book).

Conclusion:

My next step is working on the other character’s backstories. I need to know who they are. From birthdate to how their parents died to personality. This is the book where I need to know much more than the others. However, I can’t get too caught up in GD that I forget about Tale of the Cattail Forest.
