Ever since I was a child, I always loved fantasies. The vast majority of fantasy I love belongs to series. Some of my favorite fantasies also are classics. Now, what are upcoming fantasy novels I hope to read?
Harry Potter
I have loved this series since I was a kid. I started with the films and eventually read the books. I love the wizarding world- Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Diagon alley. I really loved the trio in the series along with other characters. Growing up, I always wanted to be Gryffindor. There is so much I love about this series. I really think J.K. Rowling got a lot of inspiration from Lord of the Rings.
Chronicles of Narnia
Harry Potter and Narnia are the main reasons why I became a fantasy fan. Once again, started with films and then read the books. The talking animals, the dancing trees, and of course the four siblings. Just the world in general would be an incredible place to visit. All I really know is the first films- completely forgot what was part of the other books. Time for a reread.
Nevermoor Series
This is a series I never read before. I was told that HP fans would love it. So, this will be the newest fantasy series I will read.
Standalone
As of now, don’t have any upcoming standalone books on the list. Just don’t know what they are going to be.

The Harry Potter Books are’s one of my all time favourites, I definitely have a lot of fantasy books on my TBR list, like The Dark Archive and The Left-Handed Booksellers of London.

I loved Harry Potter as a child- I literally grow up on both the movies and books. I also grew up on Narnia.
It is those two series that made me a love for fantasy.

I really want to reread Narnia, since it’s been so long. I’m also hoping to continue with my Tolkien reread sometime soon, but that might need to wait a little while!

Narnia has been too long since I read it- don’t remember much. The only Narnia books I know belong to the ones that made it to film.
