Anti TBR List Tag

I saw this tag floating around and decided to do it myself.

A classic book (or author) you don’t have an interest in reading? Well, Jane Austen- after Pride and Prejudice, don’t think I want to read her anymore.

An author whose books you have no interest in reading? Nicholas Sparks- would never read his books. Way Way too predictable.

A problematic author whose books you have no interest in reading? Problematic? Well, I never decide to a book based on the author itself, but more on the plot. Problematic, to me, means to be almost an author I really don’t want to read- no horror author for me or the author who wrote Peculiar Children

An author you have read a couple of books from & have decided their books are not for you? Well, usually can decide after one book by an author if I really want to continue reading their books. Tolstoy and Austen both fall under this category along with Erika Johansen.

A genre you have no interest in OR a genre you tried to get into & couldn’t? No horror for me or too creepy.

A book you have bought but will never read? (this can be a book you have unhauled/returned to the library unread) I never have refused to read a book I buy.

A series you have no interest in reading OR a series you started & have dnf’d? Don’t know how new the Queen of the Tearling series is. I had a lot of problems with it- yes, the blurb made it sound amazing, but the book not so much. I mean for like the vast majority of the book, I felt like nothing or exciting was happening- only love like the last 25% or lower. So in no way am I continuing this series.

A new release you have no interest in reading? Well, I did come across a new book Nicholas Sparks and a new book in both Hunger Game and Twilight. Don’t even like any of those books
