The Last Ten Books Tag

I found this tag on Charlotte, Somewhere. There really weren’t any rules. Pretty much it was answering the questions.

The Last Book I Gave Up On– So far haven’t given up on a book

The Last Book I Re-Read– The Last Battle. Well, more like the entire Chronicles or Narnia series

The Last Book I Bought– It really belongs to two books. Those are the first two Nevermoor books.

The Last Book I Said I Read, But Didn’t– Never did this either

The Last Book I Wrote In The Margins Of– Most likely this was Les Misérables

The Last Book I Had Signed– Well, it was more like a church friend giving me a signed book. Not me going to get a book signed. Despite not liking the Wicked book by Gregory McGuire, I still have a signed edition with a drawing of Elphaba .

The Last Book I Lost– I never lost a book

The Last Book I Had To Replace– I didn’t need to replace a book

The Last Book I Argued Over– I am thinking this is the Harry Potter series. Arguing with my sister when to read them- she wanted to make that decision herself. This is why I now own my entire boxed set of Harry Potter

The Last Book I Preordered– I honestly don’t know

By the way, I leave this tag open to anyone

  1. Hey, Meg! It was a lot of fun reading this tag! I also wanted to let you know that I just sent you the guest post via your contact page on your blog! Hopefully everything worked and it got to you. If not, we can try something else!
    My answers:
    1) Not really sure… I can’t think of what that would be at the moment!
    2) The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
    3) Technically, the last books I bought were textbooks. Before that, I’m not really sure what that would be. I know I bought a Sherlock Holmes collection a while ago, but I’m not sure if that was really the last book purchase I made besides those textbooks!
    4) Haha, I’m not really sure if I’ve ever done this.
    5) Probably another textbook… not sure which one, though! I don’t typically write in margins of non-textbooks.
    6) I got a copy of Marissa Meyer’s Renegades signed a little over a year ago. Haven’t read it yet, though!
    7) Oof. The tough thing about this question is that if I lost a book, it probably actually means that I sold it at some point because I didn’t think I’d reread it and then forgot. Then, a few years later, sometimes I find myself looking for those books only to have to come to the conclusion that I probably sold it a while ago.
    8) I didn’t absolutely need to replace my copy of Les Miz, but I did. I wanted to have a copy that I could take notes in, etc. and another that I would keep in its original condition.
    9) Probably not the last time I argued with someone over a book, but I remember being adamantly against reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury for a long time while my dad insisted that I should read. I did, eventually, read it and loved it. 😂
    10) I don’t think I’ve ever actually preordered a book!
