It is amazing to think of the musicals I saw in person. True, I did love MOST of them, but only a select few I didn’t like. Those musicals come from a combo of tour, Broadway, West End, and college (as in community college and university). This time, I will only be mentioning what musicals- not necessarily where I saw them or how many times. So the first time might be left off.

- Something Rotten
- Oliver
- R/H’s Cinderella- well already saw Sound of Music and Oklahoma, so need to see a 3rd musical of theirs.
Well, the top three on this list are touring to Charlotte later this year. Like I said, seeing Frozen in June. Anastasia and Hadestown are coming in the months of October and November. All will be with the US Tours—–due to not living near NYC, but in a major touring city.
True, I could have put Oliver on my big list, but because I have no memory of seeing it, it didn’t count. But after reading Oliver Twist and watching the musical movie, I now know I want an actual memory of seeing that musical in person. Something Rotten, Cinderella, and Once did tour to Charlotte before, but missed my chance, so hopefully they will come back.
Well, if Beauty and the Beast is currently touring the UK, shouldn’t it eventually do the same in the US? That is almost giving me a good sign that I will get my chance to see it. But, what I hope happens is a revival on Broadway and a new cast album with “A Change in Me” on it——I want that song, but can’t own it.
