My Favorite Actor for Musical Characters

As musical theatre fanatics, we ALL have our favorite actor for characters. We have different reasons why that actor became our favorite. Some do have an advantage over others- as in either being first, being the only one we remember or the only one we have seen in that role. But what about the ones that come after our first- that can be a bit harder to explain.

True, some actors might seem unfamiliar to others, but if you live in the US, you will be seeing a different group of actors. I have to rely on Broadway Tours, but glad to live in a major touring city. Only been to Broadway and The West End once. Some of my favorites in roles come from movies- as result of falling in love with musicals that way (even some stage stars were in musical movies).
