Life in Books Book Tag

On the blog of Kira Jeanette, I found this tag. Due to being a bookworm, I decided to attempt yes. True, some of the questions are harder than others, and yes, multiple answers can fit under some of them.

The Questions

Find a book for each of your initials

M- The Man Who Invented Christmas (great for writers and those who love A Christmas Carol)

P- Percy Jackson Series (makes since to include the entire series); despite the fact to include one book

H- House of Many Ways (This is the third book of the Howl’s Moving Castle series, an exciting and odd series)

Count your age along your bookshelf – what book is it? Marilla of Green Gables

Name a book set in your city/country– One Hundred Story Home (it takes place in Charlotte, NC). So, yes I have read a book that takes place in my hometown

Name a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to– This can easily apply to the genre of fantasy. I thought automatically of the world of Narnia especially in Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Name your favorite childhood book– seriously, I don’t know what my favorite childhood book was. But I know what some of my favorites were- from the Frog and Toad Series to the Magic Treehouse Series, etc…….

Name a book that’s your favorite color– Pink, well, my copy of A Little Princess is pink, a book I don’t know if I ever read or not, but I already fell in love with the story thanks to one of the movies. I actually got it for Christmas of 2021.

Which book do you have the fondest memories of? Easily apply to those books that strongly stay with you, even if you don’t remember when you first read them. Sorcerer’s Stone being one of them- after all, I still love the Harry Potter series and currently rereading them. I eventually had to own my own set of the books.

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?– Well, for sure any of the required reading books. However, there are a few exceptions- I had a lot of trouble reading Anna Karenina—due to some words being in a foreign language, and not being a big fan of the story (I only continued due to liking just a subplot).

Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest accomplishment when you finish it? I honestly don’t know—but I know some of the books will be easier to read than others. That is because some books on the TBR are MG books and aware some of my classics on that list are easier.
