It is a well-known fact that I love the classics. In addition, some of those classics have children as protagonists. So, what are those children protagonists?
Classic Child Protagonists
- Sara Crewe
- Mary Lennox
- Oliver Twist
- Lucy Pevensie (yes, there are three others, but she is the youngest)
- Scout Finch
Conclusion
This is difficult- it almost feels as if most protagonists in classics aren’t children. They seem to range from teenagers to adults. Maybe that is why it harder to think of the kid protagonists in the classics.
