One of the amazing things about musicals belongs to the several locations they take place in. Due to yesterday being Independence Day, I decided to mention the musicals I love that take place in the US. It actually is one of the most common locations.

The Musicals

  1. White Christmas
  2. Music Man
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Grease
  5. Annie- this is my childhood favorite musical
  6. Newsies
  7. Rent
  8. Greatest Showman

Conclusion

I know there are MORE- but what came to mind. These are musicals from Vermont, Iowa, Oklahoma, California, and New York.

  1. The music man will always hold a special place in my heart. It is quintessential Americana at its best. Plus White Christmas is a classic. Makes you want to visit Vermont. Newsies forever! Newsies and Dear Even Hansen are tied for 1st in my book.
